My son Ali and I had the privilege of joining Sheryl Sandberg, the COO of Meta for lunch. We discussed many things, and in particular about the metaverse and its rippling effect on the digital universe. Since Meta announced its ambitious plans for the metaverse last year, several companies across the global business fraternity are following suit. The metaverse realm has been one of the most interesting and far-reaching technologies of recent times. The possibilities and opportunities for businesses in the metaverse have been enticing companies to sit up and take notice to what some are predicting as the next wave of technological advancement. Combining technologies such as VR and AR the transition to metaverse is going to be easier and seamless. Interesting times we live in, and I am keen to see the many new experiences this will provide!
