The Dubai @Land_Department recently announced that that real estate transactions for H1 2018 reached AED 111 billion across 27,642 transactions. While Emirati investors lead the list in both number and value of transactions, Indians and Saudis come a close second and third respectively, followed by other European and Middle Eastern nationals.
The predictions for H2 2018 are largely upbeat thanks to excellent strategic initiatives announced in recent weeks, including the introduction of 10-year residency visas and a reduction in governmental fees. Dubai’s real estate market is one that has matured through time and experience and these remarkable steps will only strengthen the position of the UAE as a global investment hub.
